My name is Gary Carpenter. Thank you for taking the time to look over my website. I realize how expense weddings and parties are these days. Now you tack on at least another $1,000 - $4,000 just for someone to take some pictures, and you could go broke before you even get started. I have photographed almost 100 weddings and numerous other events. I have a very nice camera and take some very nice pictures of all of you and your special day. Whether it be your wedding, birthday party, family reunion or any other event that you would like to have captured in pictures. And usually for about 1/10th of what other photographers charge. Have you ever been to a wedding where there were disposable cameras left on the tables for the guests to take pictures for the bride and groom? What happens with them? You get pictures of the floor as children try to figure them out, about 1/2 get stuck in peoples pockets never to be seen again, you get pictures with peoples heads cut off and so on. Plus it costs good money to purchase these cameras, as well as to have these cameras developed. Then, you even have to pay for the bad pictures. All that adds up to more than I will charge to take nice pictures for you. All the pictures that I take are yours. I place them on a set of CD's. That way, every picture I take, you get. I do not do any editing of the pictures. Every picture I take is at a resolution which allows you to crop, blow up or edit the pictures with no problems, if you feel the need to do so. I also give you a copyright photo release for which allows you to legally reproduce as many copies of the CD's as you want and to have as many or few pictures you want to be printed. I am very people oriented and have fun with you and your guests. I am very laid back and do not follow a set schedule like most photographers. I encourage you and your guests to grab me at anytime throughout the event for special photographs. I am 55 years old and semi-retired. I don't need to make a living taking pictures for you, therefore no high prices. I do it because I truly enjoy working with people. So we both profit.
